What is this ‘contact credit’ mullarkey all about, then?

Well, dear sitter, as you ask, it means nothing, because, we're new, so, for now it's all FREE anyway!!

But, in future, it will be a way of keeping membership costs affordable for house sitters or pet sitters who might only want to use this website to find one or two house sit assignments in a year, or a one-off house sit for just once in their entire lives!

The logic behind this is simple. We think that our house sitters’ matching system is so accurate, that sitters will have to make many less applications to owners to find their preferred pet sitting assignment than with other websites.

Thus, if a pet sitter wants to ‘dip their toe into the water’ to see if this website is really suitable for them, then it’s only GBP £10 equivalent, for the Pay As You Go (PAYG) option, which isn’t a huge fortune, to find out if their approach to house sitting or pet sitting works for owners.

The PAYG system allows the user to top up their credit, like a mobile phone, later on in the year if they feel it’s appropriate.

We think that we are the only international house sitter or pet sitter / homeowner introduction website that charges such an affordable fee to its members; however, the investment in development for our site was very considerable, so, for those users who would like to use the site more regularly, or indeed paid professional pet sitters or fee-charging house sitters (who are as welcome here as ‘no-rent-no-fee’) we instigated the ‘subscription’ option as well as the ‘Pay As You Go’ option.

Please note that annual subscribers’ membership fees of Equivalent GBP £20 are NOT automatically renewed, so you need NOT worry about being charged after 12 months without your knowledge.

But for now, being honest, until we feel that we have attracted enough members to the site, we are happy to let everyone join and interacvt for FREE! Watch this space - you'll be alerted before we try to charge you any money!
