How to un-spam e-mails from housem8

Depending on your mail client, i.e. the software or browser-based interface that is used by your computer to access your e-mail messages, there are several ways to tell your mail server and / or your computer that messages from us are not spam.

In all cases below, the e-mail address that you wish to 'allow' as safe is:

For MS Outlook users, click the link here:


1) Go to the login page on this website, and attempt to login using the username that appeared on the screen when you initially registered, together with the password you chose.

2) An error message will appear stating that your account isn't available because you haven't confirmed your e-mail address.

3) A link will show, prompting you to request a re-send of the confirmation mail.

4) After a few moments, the confirmation mail should now arrive OK in your inbox.

5) If not, please send an e-mail entitled 'can't receive your e-mail' to   support(at) and we'll try to help you.


For Apple Mail users, it could not be simpler to ensure that our e-mails are not marked as spam.  Simply Add us to your Address Book!

1) Open the address book software on your Mac.
2) Click the + button at the foot of the contacts list, thus creating a brand new contact.
3) Call us Housem8 (first name) Support (last name)
4) add the e-mail address   support(at)    into the e-mail field of that new contact
5) Close address book.

This adds the sender's email address to your address book, marking it as safe in Mac Mail.

Then, follow the steps 1 through 5 above.


For Windows Live HotMail users:

1) Select Options > More Options… from the Windows Live Hotmail toolbar.
2) Follow the 'safe and blocked senders' link under 'Preventing junk email'
3) Click 'Safe senders'.
4) In the field labelled 'Sender to mark as safe' on the Safe senders list, type   support(at)

5) Go back to the login screen and follow steps 1 through 5 in the instructions above as for MS Outlook.


For Googlemail or GMail users

1) Either look in the spam bin on your account and see if the message from   support(at)housem8.comis there.

2) If so, you can unmark the message. Just select the message, and click the Not Spam button that appears at the top and bottom of your current view.  

3) Unmarking a message as spam will automatically move it to your inbox.

5) Go back to the login screen and follow steps 1 through 5 in the instructions above as for MS Outlook.
