House
Sitters Legal Issues.

Our house sitters legal agreement is 20 pages long! But if you would
like to see a shorter summary of our house sitters terms of business
please contact
us.
We are not a house
sitting agency,
our clients deal with us directly, but we have a bona-fide limited
company, Tomlin Developments Ltd, you can look us up at companies
house.
Our house sitters limited company status means that we have proper
professional house sitters public liability cover of up to £2m.
Our registered company number is 04686315.
Can
I sue a bad house sitter?
They look innocent enough, but that smiley house sitter couple on
the right might be as dodgy as a six-pound note! They're probably
not, actually I think they're professional models from a stock photography
agency! But seriously, how can you check a house sitters credentials
without adequate house sitter references and police clearance?
Some house sitters act under casual arrangement, if anything goes
wrong, it can be difficult to have any recourse in law.
Our terms of business cover important legal matters such as:
- How much we charge for our house sitters services.
- Liability for house sitting issues.
- Competence to act as house sitters.
- Termination of the house sitting contract.
But it's unlikely that anything will ever go wrong on a house
sitting assignment, and the main purpose of the paperwork we fill out
with our clients is to establish the clients' needs, along with those
of the pets in the house too!
