We are Tom Hill and Linda Worthington. We are normal people in our mid-forties, being professional house sitters and pet sitters.

We have our own home, which, at least over the summer months, is let to tenants. We're not rich, we need to work, but we don't have dependent children or a big mortgage. We both made a conscious decision to throw in our nine-to-five existences in favour of becoming professional pet sitters in 2002.

You can access our CV's in .pdf format from the menu bar which appears on the left. We have been experienced house sitters for nearly five years. We started off as pet sitters because house sitting or pet sitting is an affordable way of travelling the world.

The reason for our charges being so flexible is because of the nature of Tom's self-employment. He has a 'transportable' compendium of skills ranging from being a pet sitter, to copy writing, cat sitting, photography, house sitting and web design. Then there's the landscape gardening and HGV driving! Our house sitters fees reflect this work / life balance. On a medium or long term house sit or pet sit, there may be chance to perform I.T. work or some technical authoring using the internet, hence the ability to charge less for the housesit service. It's all worked well so far, and we've had many satisfied customers, including the odd celebrity.
